Quality Is Built In, Not Inspected In
AK Industries is AS9100D and ISO 9001 certified, and quality standards shape every stage of production — not just final inspection. Because we manufacture virtually all components in-house across our machine shop, fabrication shop, and molding facility, we control the process end to end rather than relying on outside vendors.
Every connector, splice kit, and penetrator is built to documented specifications and traceable materials, with in-process and final inspection at each stage. That in-house control is also what lets us hold tight tolerances on custom and special projects without sacrificing lead time.
Our suppliers are held to the same standard: the Supplier Quality Clauses below define the requirements every vendor and subcontractor must meet before materials or components enter our production floor.
